P90X2

Many of you have heard that there is a new P90X out it is called P90X2. Well there have been many questions about the program, and I would like to answer a few. I have been doing the program, but have not yet completed it.
First question is: People ask if it is harder than the original P90X? In my opinion some ways it is. But the main thing is that it adds new routines and new ways to stretch, which I love. Some of the moves I cannot do yet, and have to modify. He uses a big medicine ball in many of the workouts, and I would highly recommend getting one if you get this program.
Another question I get is if it is as long or longer than P90X? No it is usually shorter than the workouts in P90X. He tries to stick to an hour for each program. Sometimes you add the ab ripper which adds another 15 minutes but other than that it is 60 min. per workout.
Do you need more equipment? Yes, he uses a medicine ball and weighted balls and a foam roller. I would say you should start out with the medicine ball and the foam roller. Then get the weighted balls when you save up a bit of money.
Is it as good as the regular P90X? Yes! I love the new program, and highly recommend it!
Dose it come with a new eating program? Yes, and it is new and improved! It puts more control into your hands, and gives you options. Not as many recipes, but expects you to learn how to eat without holding your hand as much.
Will I get great results like with P90X? Yes, it is a wonderful program, and if you commit to it and follow the program, then you will get results!
Bring It Again!! X2 style.
Let me know if you have any more questions, and I would be happy to answer them!

Shakeology's From the Fields Video

Why I love Shakeology

The reason I love Shakeology so much is that it makes getting pure nutrition so easy! I eat the best I can, but I know I don’t always get all the nutrition that I need from the food I eat. Having Shakeology everyday is a blessing to help me get that, and I feel the difference. I don’t know if you have ever gone through a time in your life of eating just junk, and then cleaned up your diet. If you have, you will know how it feels to get healthy foods in your body! Shakeology brings it up a level.
One of the other reasons I love it, is how much it has helped my family. It has helped my mom immensely to control her blood sugar, and it helped lower her cholesterol, and she feels much better, and has lost about 20 Lbs so far. It has helped my dad- a big skeptic of it. My mom just made it for him every day, and he started noticing he was more alert, and feeling like he had more energy. He also lowered his cholesterol, and other blood test markers.
My mother in law was able to cut down on some of the medications she is taking, and that is just so far. Maybe soon she will not have to take it at all.
My husband was able to stop completely taking his medications, one for stomach acid, and the other for allergy. I am not sure why, but the only thing that has changed is this Shakeology. It has helped his body to become more balanced. It tides him over much better than eggs, or cereal, like he used to eat in the morning.
I could go on and on. But alas, I won’t. I will just say that it is an amazing product to help normal, busy people do something fabulous for their health!

BackPacking Trip

Last weekend my family and I went backpacking up to Granddaddy Lake in the Uinta Mountains. We had a lot of fun. My 5 year old son came, and hiked up the whole way by himself. He did really awesome and we are so proud of him. We had to tell him often, "Focus on walking not talking." He is a nonstop talker, and we found that it slowed him down when he talked. But it was nearly impossible to stop him from talking. He also caught his first fish. he wanted to catch a fish and roast it like a marshmallow he said. But when he actually saw the fish, it was alive, and he did not want to kill it. he wanted to let it go so it could play with its friends. we told him that we were going to eat it for dinner. When we were in the process of killing it, he was screaming at the top of his lungs, "Don't kit it Daddy!" over and over. I am sure people in all the surrounding lakes could hear him. Quite funny and embarrassing. Then he wanted to carry the dead fish all the way back to camp, and he pretended it was swimming.

We hiked in about 4 1/2 miles to camp the first day. I was surprised at how well I did. When we did the same hike a few years ago, it was a really difficult hike for me. I was frequently out of breath and just about collapsed when we got to camp. This time, I could have kept going. I think that the reason I did so well this time is due to the fact that I recently completed P90X and Insanity. It is amazing how much it makes things easier for me. I love feeling this way! My husband also did a lot better this time too, because he has been doing Power 90. It is amazing how well those programs work. I love it!
